Vidya, a global manufacturer specializing in botanicals and biotics, announced the opening of a probiotic supplement manufacturing facility in Bunnell, FL.

The 28,750-square-foot facility expands the company’s manufacturing capabilities, supporting production under conditions designed to maintain viability, potency, and stability. The addition to Vidya’s Bunnell campus now totals more than 48,000 square feet, hosting research and development, manufacturing, and the company’s U.S. headquarters.

The facility incorporates advanced environmental controls, dedicated processing areas, and integrated quality systems supporting raw material handling, formulation, encapsulation, and finished product packaging.

According to Vidya, the new facility is the first to dedicate two separate buildings to the manufacture of spore- and non-spore-forming probiotics. This intentional separation optimizes the production for each type of probiotic.

“This addition reflects our long-term investment in doing biotics the right way,” said Chandra Sekhar, global VP. “We are focused on building infrastructure that protects strain integrity and allows our partners to grow with confidence.”

The facility supports single- and multi-strain formulations, synbiotic blends, and multiple delivery formats including capsules, stick packs, sachets, and powders. The capabilities include pilot, clinical, and full-scale production, custom formulation, and contract manufacturing.
